Do I have the potential to become a professional guitarist?
Ok, so I am 13 and already REPLICATE these songs (lead guitar):
Sweet Child o’ Mine, One, The Day that Never Comes, Enter Sandman, Battery, Sad but true, Stairway to Heaven, Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door, Welcome to the Jungle, Smoke on Water, Walk This Way, Back in Black, You Shook Me All Night Long, Breed, Youth gone Wild, 18 and Life, Highway to Hell.
I’d link a video, but my browser is uncapable, but I will as soon as my computer is hooked up.
A month ago nobody even knew I played, so shut up.
Definitly.
Keep working on all the Metallica songs, I mean ALL of them. That’ll set you great, trust me. They’re amazing.

Stop trying to brag kid, nobody likes assholes who are full of themselves(look at axl rose!)"i am 13 and already REPLICATE these songs"
talent is measured by motivation, passion and time it sounds like you got all of those but you come off as a narcissist.

anyone can play those songs… sadly it takes more then just talent to become a professional… you need charisma
Has Anyone Seen The Bridge? | Jan 23, 2010
ofcourse you can.dont say that word POTENTIAL.its not good
everyone has the potential to be a professional guitarist they just should practice..

If you can fully replicate those songs up to speed and in rhythm then you’re pretty good but it’s not just the skill to play but the ability to write songs and sing unless you have a band. It all depends on the perserverance you have in order to achieve that goal.

you do mate, keep on rocking.

When you learn to replicate songs that use extreme technicality, odd time signatures, and songs with guitar work that is actually challenging than maybe… But right now no…

if you stay true to yourself and work your ass off then anything is possible.

1. If you talk like your full of yourself, you’ll think your a great guitarist, but in reality you wont be.
2. Anyone can become a great guitarist, it just depends how much time and passion you put in to it. I can easily say that guitar is my life (when im not hanging out with friends) and that I love to play. But yeah, if you have passion and put a lot of time into it you’ll be good (and try to ditch the full of yourself attitude, please)
