American going to an Indain wedding… what to wear?
Hello. I was recently invited to a traditional Indian wedding and do not know what to wear. Although the wedding is in America at the bride’s hometown, it is going to be a very traditional weekend long Indian wedding. I know that wearing American clothes isn’t a problem, but I also have Indian friends who can lend me Saris and the such. I’d love to get dressed up traditionally, but I’m worried people I don’t know will think I look out of place or like the ‘White House party’ crashers.

Wear the Saris. They won’t think you’re "White House Party" crashers if you make an effort with their culture.

they invited you, if you look out of place thats their own fault. just try your best, im sure youll look fine. they cant be too judgemental towards you.

When ever confronted with the "What to wear", wear nothing.

The accident leaves Matt blind but also gives him a heightened “radar sense” that allows him to “see” far better than any man. Years later Murdock has grown into a man and becomes a respected criminal attorney. But after he’s done his “day job” Matt takes on a secret identity as “The Man Without Fear,” Daredevil, the masked avenger that patrols the neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen and New York City to combat the injustice that he cannot tackle in the courtroom.

Which is a more legendary gimmick?
The Undertaker (The Deadman) or Shawn Michaels (Sexy Boy)

Chris Jericho (Y2J) or Eddie Guerrero (Lie, Cheat and Steal)

Jeff Hardy (Daredevil) or Kane (Masked)

Star if you like

Best explanation gets 10 points

I believe that the undertaker wins hands down. or eyeballs up. He isn’t quite so preachy like other wrestlers and that is part of his appeal. Shawn michaels is more of a legend then almost anybody else in the write-up you did, but the deadman wins.
Y2J Vs E.G. : both legendary in their own right, but not only did Eddie seem to the more outrageous of the stunts, I think they kind of made him a martyr after he died. He got an entire episode of raw and smackdown dedicated to him, whilst others have barely gotten mentioned.
Kane is scary. enough said.
If I had to think up some other legendary gimmicks, I would say in order of awesomeness: Sting, Austin, DX, Hogan, The Rock, NWO…

ALL OF THEM ARE GREAT BUT NO ONE LIKE :

The Undertaker

imagine the wwe without his gimmick . the lights the magic the mystery the look .when this gimmick first appear in early 90’s it is something new in the wrestling industry . and still . pple want to see him everytime. but some pple want his ABA biker gimmick cuz they cant be satisfied , if he is as biker gimmick they want the deadman gimmick)
so wwe is nothing without that original gimmick plus not good at it as MARK CALLAWAY to do it .

need more ?

The Undertaker, similar to Hogan, is a "made up" larger-than-life character. The difference, and it’s a major one, is that the Undertaker stays in character and doesn’t break kayfabe, lending more credibility to his "other-worldly" gimmick. He doesn’t drag family problems out in public and put them on TV and in newspapers for the whole world to gossip about. The Undertaker, for nearly two decades, has maintained the credibility of his character, and just as important, has maintained the mysteriousness of the character. We can guess and speculate about him all we want, but because he keeps kayfabe, doesn’t get involved in scandals outside the WWE, and doesn’t talk very much, he has managed to keep his character "other-worldy" and larger-than-life MUCH more effectively than Hogan has. Undertaker is truly a hall of famer, he is the biggest larger than life character I can really think of in WWE, I could make a argument that Hulk Hogan is the biggest larger than life character due to his Hulkamaniacs, world title reigns, longevity in the business, and being the babe ruth of Professional Wrestling and all, but I think it pales in comparison to the Undertaker. Just the Character of the Undertaker is so mystical, he has been involved in so many of the biggest moments in WWE history, created superstars, people who step in the ring with the Undertaker are made famous, like Lesnar, Batista, John Cena, and many others. Others have tried to pull similar characters off, but just fail to succeed at it examples, Mordecai, Gangrel, Keven Thorn, Judas Mesias, most was perceived as cheap knockoffs of the Undertaker character. Undertaker has a presence about himself, he truly is the Personification of Darkness, and a force to be reckon with.

Eddie’s gimmick simply because it was more entertaining and the fans loved it.

Masked Kane, hands down. This is a man who takes joy in hurting random people, and even going as far as to set his own kin on fire. Masked Kane is intimidating mentally and physically.

Well, let me ask you?Who in the name of pro wrestling history, could make Shawn Michaels gimmick work like Shawn Michaels?..Its a male stripper, kinda gay, dances around.Taker comes out to a gimmick…..that basically makes itself.HBK is the greatest of all time. Not cause of the gimmick but performances he gives…….Now ask who had the more legendary gimmick??? Taker hands-down…The Taker gimmick..was one of the greatest gimmicks ever to work for WWE.

Y2J….Now I LOVE EDDIE.and one of the best ever cheating gimmicks ever that was face.Regardless The Y2J Gimmick worked out great with the crowed.Rather it was his come to the WWF in 99,are his come back in 2007.It was great and electrifying. Not to mention the shows he can put on,Which Eddie could too.But Jericho could communicate with the crowed like not a lot of wrestlers today.

Kane-Masked…It was Taker’s mysterious brother….that was as mysterious as…or in a way The Undertaker…So it worked itself.
George W. Bush ! Agrees,Do You? | Jan 31, 2010

The Undertaker : He is one of the best gimmicks in WWE and he adds some mystery and spookiness to WWE.

Eddie Guerrero : He was one of the first wrestlers who cheated and was liked for it. Although the Y2J gimmick was great, this one will have to go to Eddie.

Jeff Hardy : Although it seemed he only jumped off ladders in his whole career, he always had us on the edge of our seats.
Straight.Edge | Jan 31, 2010

Takers gimmick is legendary, But very stale and old… and jeff hardys gimmick is a stoner, not daredevil
Edgecution of opportunity | Jan 31, 2010

the undertaker hes been doing it for abt 20 years and the fans like it and noone else can pulll it off like hes as done

Belly of the Beast
Belly of the Beast (2003)

IMDB rating: 4.30

Plot: Ten years ago, Jake Hopper was a CIA agent who was stationed in Thailand. Then one day, things went sour, and his partner, Sunti barely escaped with his life…after accidentally killing a woman. Jake called it quits and returned to the United States when his wife died, and Sunti became a Buddhist monk to atone for his sins. For the past 10 years, Jake has run a successful private security business, and has been raising his daughter Jessica, who is now an adult. While hiking in Thailand, Jessica and her friend Sarah Winthorpe are kidnapped. A group of Islamic fundamentalists known as the Abu Karaf claims responsibility. Sarah is the daughter of United States senator John Winthorpe. For ransom, the Abu Karaf demand the release of 20 prisoners from American custody. The US Secretary of State urges restraint — he won’t negotiate. Tom Collins, an ex-colleague of Jake’s, recognizes Jessica on the ransom tape and tips Jake off. Jake knows that he must rescue the girls himself. An old CIA buddy puts Jake in contact with Leon Washington, an active CIA agent who is working in Thailand. Jake goes to Bangkok, and escapes an assassination attempt. Leon arranges a meeting for himself with with Soku — the internal security chief for General Jantapan. Jantapan is a rebel military general who is making a play to be one of the most powerful men in Thailand. Secretly, Jantapan is messing with some dangerous spiritual forces. Soku provides Jake with a cover story, but the CIA wants Jake out of it — they are planning to take out the Abu Karaf with the aid of the Thai army, and they don’t want a civilian in the middle. Jake is a spiritual man, so he contacts his spiritual master Paijan Paitoon. As Jake is in trouble, Paitoon offers to arrange a divination from the oracle of the order. Jake enlists the help of Sunti. Jake gets Lulu, the girlfriend of arms dealer Fitch McQuoid, to steal information leading to the Abu Karaf. Jake and Sunti follow the leads to a warehouse where they discover evidence of highly sophisticated weaponry. With their enemies now after Lulu, Jake takes Lulu under his wing. Jake shares some of his info with Leon. Can he trust Leon? Another attempt is made on Jake’s life — and this time, Jake is sure that Leon was involved. Finally, the Abu Karaf contact Jake to arrange a meeting — the pieces are coming together, and Jake figures out that it was not the Abu Karaf who kidnapped Jessica and Sarah. Jantapan tries to send the spirit of an ancient warrior demon to kill Jake, but the ceremony goes wrong and the spirit enters Jantapan himself, giving Jantapan amazing physical and spiritual powers. Jake and Sunti go to meet Mongkol, the leader of the Abu Karaf. Mongkol confirms that ever since the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, Jantapan has worked to corner the narcotics and arms markets. It was Jantapan who kidnapped the girls, blaming the Abu Karaf so the army would wipe out his competition. Mongkol knows where the girls are, and he gives Jake plans and intelligence. They both need the girls alive. Jake must engage in a battle that will put both his physical and spiritual powers to the ultimate test.

Lol I’m obsessed with Johnny Depp, too & love all Tim Burton movies, so this will be hard:
1) Both (sorry, can’t choose)
2) 1
3) The Corpse Bride
4) Edward Scissorhands
5) Fear & loathing in Las Vegas

Both will be good, but Alice in Wonderland will be probably much better & from the trailers it looks like this will be the best Depp/Burton movie. Alice in Wonderland is the movie I can’t wait to see in 2010!
